The way the PowerGuard manages your power reduces the risk of your appliances tripping. Tripping is caused by power surges, such as for instance, after a black out when power is switched on and surges through your power network. By sensing such surges, the power manager takes over and switches on appliances sequentially, all the time ensuring that peak loads are not exceeded.
